Video Essay

As part of your application for the Acton School of Business Class of 2010-2011, please submit a video (no more than 2 minutes in length) explaining to your future classmates why Acton’s Admissions Committee should accept you over other qualified applicants. Hint: Describing the special talents and gifts you will offer your fellow classmates will help.

Please follow the instructions below to submit your video:

  1. Create a free account at Vimeo (a video sharing website)
  2. Upload your video
  3. Edit the privacy settings of your video to make the video “private.” When prompted, please enter “acton” as the password. The password must be “acton” or the admissions committee will be unable to access your video and your application will not be reviewed.
  4. After a few minutes, your essay will be processed by Vimeo and become viewable. Once it is viewable, go to your video and click the “embed” button, which is superimposed over its upper-right hand corner. After clicking, a new box will appear.
  5. Copy and paste the embed link in the appropriate field below.
