Sandefer, Acton School of Business Founder, Honored as Top Texas Business Leader

AUSTIN, TX – Austin businessman, Jeff Sandefer, was recently inducted into the Texas Business Hall of Fame after being honored as a top Texas business leader. The Texas Business Hall of Fame recognizes the state’s most influential capitalists who have made outstanding contributions in their field and in the communities in which they live.

Sandefer co-founded the Acton School of Business, a one-of-a kind MBA in Entrepreneurship program led by successful entrepreneurs who have been on the front lines and are changing the ways business leaders are taught. The program has been nationally ranked several times, and is currently building a new state of the art campus at I-35 and Riverside Drive.

This year’s Texas Business Hall of Fame inductees also include:
- Joe Foster, founder and former CEO of Houston-based Newfield Exploration Co.
- Dennis Nixon, president and CEO of Laredo-based International Bank of Commerce
- Lee Raymond, former chairman and CEO of Irving-based Exxon Mobile Corp.
- Corbin Robertson, Jr., president and CEO of Houston-based Quintana Minerals Corp.

The Austin, Texas, based Acton MBA in Entrepreneurship is offered through Hardin-Simmons University.
