"I want to help others make it on their own."

J. Vaughn Brock

Credentials:

Vaughn Brock became an entrepreneur at age fourteen by starting his own lawn care service -- purchasing his own mowing equipment and hiring school friends by the hour. By high school, Vaughn was selling and organizing packaged junior high graduation trips to Six Flags Over Texas. He paid his way through college by selling Spring Break vacations to Florida and Colorado.

Vaughn worked for three years as a geologist--first for Exxon, then for an independent oil and gas company--before returning to the classroom to earn his MBA. He joined the Trammell Crow Company, but it wasn't long before he answered the entrepreneurial call and formed Brock Consulting Group to develop real estate projects.

In the twelve years since founding Brock Consulting, Vaughn has participated as a principal in real estate transactions exceeding $200 Million. These real estate transactions include acquisitions, financings, developments, and dispositions involving office, industrial, retail, and multifamily properties.

Four years ago, Vaughn decided to return to the classroom, this time as a teacher: "I've been fortunate to have people help me to succeed. Now it's my turn to help."
