Betty Sue Flowers

A native Texan, Dr. Betty Sue Flowers has a varied and eclectic career. In addition to running one of the largest libraries and museums in the country, Betty Sue is a prolific author. She has published several scholarly articles, three books of poetry, four books in collaboration with Bill Moyers, and edited several publications.
In addition to print media, Dr. Flowers has tackled television and radio as well. A consultant for the nationally televised series, "The Power of Myth", Betty Sue was also a host for a radio series, "The Next 200 Years". Her 10-part television series, "Conversations with Betty Sue Flowers," was aired on the Austin's PBS affiliate, KLRU.
Dr. Flowers has served as moderator for executive seminars around the globe, as a consultant for NASA, as a member of the Envisioning Network for General Motors, as a member of the vision team for the National Endowment for the Humanities, and as a Visiting Advisor to the Secretary of the Navy.
