While at undergraduate, Toffee gained a world of experience outside the classroom. She worked for the Bush presidential campaign in 2000, in the Texas House of Representatives, and at ProTrader Securities, a day-trading firm, as a business analyst.
After graduation she joined Inpatient Management Partners, where she was responsible for client relations, market referrals, and two acute-care clinics.
In 2004, Toffee left Inpatient Management to attend Acton. Toffee's assessment of the instructors at Acton: "The teachers know firsthand the tools needed to run a successful business. They are academically exceptional and have proven themselves as entrepreneurs in the business arena and as leaders in their communities."
After receiving her degree from Acton, Toffee accepted a Finance Associate position at Brigham Oil and Gas in Austin.
