As Chief Operating Officer of one of the most well-known and recognized non-profits in the world, Betty Otter-Nickerson's job is to increase the Lance Armstrong Foundation's operational infrastructure and management systems on a global scale. Betty's responsibilities include everything from financial management to strategic direction to policy development.
Before joining the foundation in 2005, Betty was Vice President of Operations for Houston-based, BMC Software. After years at BMC, Betty took on the role of President and CEO of Vincera Software and then President and CEO of GalleryWatch.com, an online legislative tracking service for both the federal and Texas market.
Betty also remains very committed to the Austin community that she loves. She works with the Entrepreneurs Foundation and Idea Network, the Capital Area Food Bank and the Austin Community College board, as well as several other boards in the Austin community.
