"What other MBA offers seasoned entrepreneurs as teachers and mentors?"
Akshay Sabhikhi '04
Credentials:
Akshay Sabhikhi came to the United States at 17 with only a few dollars in his pocket. Just a few years later he had earned two degrees (with honors) in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Texas.
While earning his master's degree, Akshay worked full time at Advanced Micro Devices, designing next-generation microprocessors. He left AMD for high tech juggernaut Trilogy, where he was honored as a Trilogy Star, an award given to the top 1 percent of outstanding achievers.
Akshay on the Acton difference: "Where else will a professor schedule a study session at the drop of a hat and spend two hours discussing business strategies they learned firsthand from Warren Buffett"?
"Perhaps most importantly, where else can you find a program that insists you dig deeply into your own passions and talents so that you can make a real difference with your life?"
"The professors are world-class entrepreneurs who truly love teaching and care about our long-term success, even after we graduate from the program."
