Acton, Wharton, Stanford and Kellogg in BusinessWeek’s Story on Top Entrepreneurship Programs
09/27/2006
AUSTIN,
TX – In today’s edition of BusinessWeek’s Small Biz magazine, The Acton MBA is featured in an article on the top graduate entrepreneurship programs in America. Acton
is highlighted along with other top-ranked business schools, including Stanford, Wharton, Babson and Kellogg
Reporter Amy Barrett notes that “Most schools rely
somewhat on adjuncts or lecturers – entrepreneurs or former entrepreneurs who teach from their own experience. But the Acton School of Business in Austin, Texas, which
teaches only entrepreneurship, goes a step further, requiring that every teacher must be a practicing entrepreneur.”
The entrepreneurship program at the
University of Oklahoma, which was launched with Acton\'s courses and help, is also included in BusinessWeek’s Small Biz magazine as one of the top undergraduate
programs in the United States.
“We are honored to once again be mentioned in a national publication,” says Georgia Spaeth, Executive Director for The Acton MBA.
“It is our hope that these accolades continue to drive future entrepreneurs to the doors of Acton.”
Based in Austin, Texas, The Acton MBA in
Entrepreneurship is offered through Hardin Simmons University.
