The Acton Career Compass is a tool our students use to guide them along in the job search process and help make this vision more attainable. Once you discover your star, you can identify the path of steppingstone jobs which will lead you to it.
The right job for you depends on where you've been and where you're trying to go. A well-chosen steppingstone job provides four major benefits: money, education, inspiration, and fun; while giving you the chance to build your reputation and move you along on the path towards your star.
Your life is far too important to waste. At Acton, we want you to find a "calling" in business, a special mission where you can use your gifts to contribute something meaningful to the world.
